Native SXGA+ resolution
With native SXGA+ resolution (1400 x 1050 pixels), the XEED SX80 reproduces still and moving images with amazing clarity – and sufficient levels of detail even for specialist applications. Canon LCOS technology also avoids common projection image drawbacks, reproducing detailed images with no unwanted “lattice” or “rainbow” effects.

Exceptional brightness
With a generous 3000 lumens brightness, the XEED SX80 delivers clear, highly defined images. Canon’s AISYS optical system maximises the performance of the highly efficient AC projector lamp, for powerful projection that cuts through high levels of ambient light.

High contrast
A contrast ratio of 900:1 ensures that the XEED SX80 faithfully reproduces every colour in the source image. With deep blacks and vivid colours, every subtle gradation is rendered with pinpoint accuracy.

Easy placement
The XEED SX80 features a Canon 1.5x powered zoom lens, specially designed to combat distortion and deliver perfect image geometry. In addition, the 10:0 lens offset makes installation exceptionally easy.

HD Ready
For perfect images from high definition digital sources, the HD Ready XEED SX80 is equipped with a DVI terminal and an HDMI™ Connector. HDCP encryption is supported, enabling playback of commercial video material.

PC-Free presentations
The XEED SX80 utilises USB and PictBridge technology, for direct projection of image files from USB flash drives and most digital cameras – ideal for occasions when carrying a computer is impractical.

Integrated networking
Equipped with an on-board RJ-45 port, the XEED SX80 can be connected directly to a network for control and monitoring. This makes it ideal for integration with industry-standard AV control systems.

Quiet operation
Running at levels of just 31dBA in Quiet Mode, the XEED SX80 won’t distract your audience with fan noise. Quiet Mode also extends lamp lifetime - up to a maximum of 3000 hours.

Fully automatic set-up
At the touch of a button, the XEED SX80 automatically configures four key settings: Focus, Keystone Correction, Input Selection and Screen Colour Correction. Settings are accurately adjusted in seconds, leaving you free to concentrate on your presentation.

Convenient design
The sleek, lightweight bodyshell of the XEED SX80 complements any office or boardroom. For easy maintenance, an optional Canon ceiling bracket allows the lamp to be changed without removing the projector.
