Customer Service

  • Shipping & Delivery

    We deliver to all Australian street addresses. We do not deliver to PO Boxes. All our deliveries are insured and we require a signature by the purchaser. We can delivery to your home or place of work. Delivery times are usually within 1-2 business days to most Australian destinations. Larger items such as printers and desktop computers may take an additional 1-2 business days to deliver to WA, SA, TAS and NT due to there size.

    Delivery is calculated at checkout. Most items cost between $15 - $25 to deliver Australia wide. Printers and larger items cost extra and vary depending on weight. You can view the shipping cost at checkout by adding your product to the shopping cart then enter your postcode to the shipping calculator. Insurance is included in the price of all our deliveries. You are guaranteed to receive your orders in there original condition.

    We do not ship overseas. If you place an order and you are based overseas the transaction will be reversed and your order will be cancelled. This is due to the high risk of fraud.

    Tammex is unable to ship to a different address if the address on the order is unattended. As all our items are insured and the courier will only deliver to the address shown on the delivery docket.

    We at Tammex are committed to respecting your online privacy and recognize your need for appropriate protection and management of any personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") you share with us. Tammex has established this Online Privacy Policy so that you can understand the care with which we intend to treat your Personal Information.

    Personal Information means any information that may be used to identify an individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, a home or other physical address and an email address or other contact information, whether at work or at home. In general, you can visit Tammex pages without telling us who you are or revealing any Personal Information about yourself. If you choose to provide us with your Personal Information on the Web, we may transfer that Information within Tammex or to Tammexs third-party service providers, across borders, and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. Tammex strives to comply with all applicable laws that are designed to protect your privacy.

    Although legal requirements may vary from country to country, Tammex intends to adhere to the principles set forth in this Online Privacy Policy even if, in connection with the above, we transfer your Personal Information from your country to countries that may not require an "adequate" level of protection for your Personal Information. In other words, our goal is to provide protection for your Personal Information no matter where that Personal Information is collected, transferred, or retained

  • Returns & Replacements

    Please choose your item carefully as not all products can be returned. Please read and understand our return policy before making a decision to purchase from Tammex.

    Not all products are returnable. Consumables (Toners, paper, DVD´s ect), software and some printers (but not just limited to these products) and non refundable. Please contact Tammex to check if your product is returnable before purchase. Any return must be done within 5 days of purchase. Tammex will not accept a return if it has been opened and not in resealable condition. An original Tammex Tax Invoice must be presented as proof of purchase. If your item is returnable then a restocking fee may be applied in the amount of 20% for non faulty returns. An insured courier service will be used for return of products as Tammex will not be responsible for lost products.


    DOA Return Policy. (Dead on Arrival)

    While we strive to have items delivered in a timely manner, occasionally there can be delays due to faulty stock. As Tammex is a reseller and not a manufacturer it is out of our control as to the turn around times for a DOA product. We aim to have DOA products replaced as quickly as possible. All products must be returned according to our DOA policy.

    Products that have been delivered to customers that are faulty and need to be returned to Tammex for exchange or refund must meet the following conditions. Any return must be done within 5 days of purchase. An RA Number must be obtained from Tammex before any return can be done. An original Tammex Tax Invoice must be presented as proof of purchase. Tammex will be responsible for postage if a product is returned and found to be DOA. We will refund you on any shipping charges capped at what you were charged on the initial order. If the product returned has been found not to be faulty then it will be the customers responsibility to pay a $50 service fee and an additional shipping charge to return the item. The entire contents of the item must be returned (Including manuals, CD´s, cables ect.) An insured courier service will be used for return of products as Tammex will not be responsible for lost products. If a product has found be to DOA (Dead on Arrival) then the customer will be entitled to a refund, exchange or store credit for a different item.


    Request RA Number

    As you require an RA number to return products to Tammex, please apply for one by contacting customer service.


    Shipping Information and Pricing

    Shipping is calculated at checkout. You can check how much shipping will cost by adding your product to the shopping cart.

  • Ordering

    Ordering from our website is safe and trusted. Tammex has some of the best security available. We have put in place security measures such as 3D secure, Comodo SSL and HTTPS. Tammex holds a website identity assurance warranty of $100,000 provided by IdAuthority. The IdAuthority is a central repository of website identities and the credentials of the entities behind the website.

    There are 3 different ways to order from Tammex. You can order by fax, email, phone or from our website. You can call customer service on 1300 722 341 for more information on how to order.

    We offer pick-up on a wide selection of products sold on our website, Although we do not hold any stock in our office located at Collins Street Melbourne we do have pick-up available at the below locations. If a product is available for collection it will be advertised on the shopping cart part.

    Order from Tammex is flexible. You can change your order proving your order has not already been invoiced. Once your order has been processed at our end it cannot be changed. If in the event your order has not been shipped you can cancel for a full no questions asked refund.

    All credit card transactions are processed during checkout use the Westpac Webadvantage processing system. (You do not need to be a customer of Westpac to use this payment option, any Visa or Mastercard can be processed) Your details are kept secure by one of Australia's largest banks and Westpac does not pass your Credit Card details on to us.

  • Payment, Pricing & Promotions

    Visa and Mastercard

    Tammex uses the latest in Credit Card processing and fraud detection. All our Credit Card transactions are processed by ANZ. You do not need to be a ANZ Customer to use this payment option. All transactions are processed using the 3D secure model which gives you extra protection knowing your details are kept safe by one of Australia's biggest banks. There is an additional 2% surcharge for this payment option. Payment clears immediately and your goods are usually shipped within 1 business day.


    Amercian Express

    When paying by American Express you can select this option at checkout. You will be contacted by Tammex Customer Service to complete the transaction as all American Express are completed over the phone. There is a 3.25% surcharge for Amex payments.


    Direct Deposit

    EFT Bank Transfer Payment - Please allow 1 -2 business days for payment to clear. Direct deposit is the cheapest and quickest way to purchase from Tammex. You can use this option by using your internet banking. If you do not have internet banking then simply walk in to any ANZ branch and make payment over the counter. This payment option does not incur any surcharge.

    These account details will be emailed to you when you choose this option at checkout. When choosing this payment option please use your Name as the transaction description.

    Personal Cheque

    Please allow 3-4 business days for payment to clear. Tammex accepts all forms of cheques, (Business, personal, Bank) as a payment option. This is a convenient way for our business customers to make payment. This option does not incur any surcharge.


    Flexirent

    Please allow up to 2 weeks for payment to clear. If you need the latest technology, then Flexirent is the way to go especially as you will be using the equipment for work and business purposes.     Paypal

    We accept Paypal at checkout. Tammex Customer Service can also arrange to send a payment request to your Paypal account. Paypal incurs a 2.0% surcharge.
